Licensing Executive needed for successful corporation. Receive training in licensing and negotiating. Prepare, finalize, and present highly technical reports, professional-grade claim charts, presentations, financial models and other deliverables in support of licensing discussions. Coordinate licensing activities with respect to patents and patent portfolios, including curation and development of patent analysis to support licensing campaigns bridging across a variety of technical fields, to meet agreed upon goals. Interact with representatives of licensees and prospective licensees, including legal counsel, agents, engineers, and technical experts. Manage all logistical aspects of licensing activities--from business development stage through any divestiture of assets--with a sense of urgency under supervision of licensing executives, including consistently maintaining campaign and portfolio information tracking accessible to team members. Proactively manage litigation and prosecution of assigned projects efficiently. Competently draft and negotiate agreements (e.g., NDAs, License Agreements, etc.). Manage day-to-day activities and performance reviews/performance improvement plans of shared technical analysts and support team. Skills Required: Professionalism and ability to treat others with respect while working in high-pressure environment. Strong analytical skills with basic understanding of, and ability to adapt to a broad array of technology. Exceptional verbal and written communication, including ability to verbally communicate complicated technical information in a straightforward, professional, and competent manner in order to advocate for your client's position. Strong reading comprehension skills and attention to detail. Ability to balance multiple simultaneous projects. Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering or Scientific Discipline. JD from ABA Accredited Law School. Intellectual Property specialization or LLM a plus. Southeast.
